Research Statement: At IAS I will work on a new analysis of the Boeotian League, one of the oldest federal organizations of antiquity, from the Archaic period to its dissolution by the Romans in 171 BC. My study will be based on numerous epigraphic documents and on literary and archaeological evidence.
